DESCRIPTION:Ribbon Cutting for the Anderson Rotary Little Free Library\n\nJune 1 at 4 p.m.\n\nJackson Park\, Raible Ave. & W. 22nd Street\n\n\n\nThe Madison County Chamber will be hosting the Ribbon Cutting for the Anderson Rotary Little Free Library on June 1 at 4:00 p.m. at Jackson Park.\n\n\n\nHundreds of books have been purchased and donated to stock up the six locations that the boxes will be located.  Books are geared for infant to young adult.\n\n\n\nThe Little Free Library project was chosen by the Anderson Rotary.  Matching funds from the Rotary District Grant made it possible for the grant total of $9\,400 towards the project.  United Way President and Rotarian Nancy Vaughan chaired the committee to oversee the grant.  The Herald Bulletin donated unused newspaper vending boxes to be used. So glad to see so many community partners coming together for such an important project.
